One of this Ayrshire photographer's favourite locations to shoot, the iconic Turnberry Lighthouse. Sitting on the rugged Ayrshire coast on the site of Turnberry Castle, it looks good in any weather. With views to Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran well worth photographing in their own right.

Turnberry Lighthouse In Spring in black and white

Here we have an image of the iconic Turnberry lighthouse on a fine spring evening. The lighthouse sits on top of the ancient Turnberry Castle. In this image you can still see the wall next to the sea gate and some of the wall that once made part of a round tower, plus the origional enterence.

The gorse we can see the iconic Turnberry Lighthouse sitting on the ruins of Turnberry Castle. You can still see one of the surviving walls that was next to the sea gate.
