About Ashrays Photography

I’m a South Ayrshire photographer with a passion for capturing the quiet, powerful moments found in nature. My work blends artistic expression with technical precision, using long exposures, natural light, and careful composition to create images that feel immersive and timeless. 

I try to incorporate the elusive Ashrays into images of the Scottish coast and waterfalls. Nocturnal in habit these translucent water faeries are often mistaken for sea ghosts and difficult to photograph. You never know, any image could have one.
