In The Before and After

I'm not a fan of Ai in photography! Not because I'm afraid of what it can do or being replaced by it, I do not think that can or will happen. That is why I would not knowingly use AI on an image. On the other hand I am not averse to blending two exposures together one for the sky and one for the foreground. After all this can be done physically by using a graduated filter on the lens, in my opinion not as skilfully as blending manually. 

Because of that I see no harm in blending two images together manually as long as they are taken seconds or minutes apart to reproduce what you actually saw at the time. I would also not use AI to remove items from an image I would rather manually clone small blemishes from an image with creative intent not what a keystroke decides to give you. This emergence of AI has me thinking of posting both the RAW file/image and the edited version for full transparency... or should an artist be taken at their word.

Below left we have the RAW file and on the right the edited file, on this occasion only a single image was needed.
