The Auld Brig o' Doon ➢ enter
On a rare misty morning for us in this part of the world it's difficult to know where to go to capture it. By the time I reached the Auld Brig O Doon over the river Doon most of the mist had unfortunately dissipated. This is the brig/bridge featured in the poem Tam O' Shanter by Rabbie Burns where Tam is chased by witches on his way home. Just before he reached the keystane of the bridge a witch grabbed the tail of his horse Meg and pulled the tail off. The loss of the tail meant Tam and his horse Meg were able to escape.
